Job Description
She has performed a wide range of duties and responsibilities, including assisting patients with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, supporting medical staff, maintaining hygiene and cleanliness, and providing compassionate care and emotional support to patients.
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Help patients with mobility (walking, transferring from bed to wheelchair, etc.)
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent bedsores
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure)
- Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical procedures
- Remind or assist patients in taking prescribed medications (under supervision)
- Help patients with eating and drinking
- Prepare or serve meals according to dietary requirements
- Monitor food and fluid intake
- Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms and equipment
- Change bed linens and ensure a hygienic environment
- Follow infection control and safety procedures
