Susilawati worked for a British family in Singapore for eight years, where she cared for a 5-year-old child. Her responsibilities included supervising the child's daily activities, attending to everyday needs, supporting daily routines, preparing and serving meals for the family, carrying out general housekeeping duties, cleaning and organizing different areas of the home, and maintaining a tidy, hygienic, and welcoming household. She left the position after successfully completing her contract.

Susilawati initially worked for a local family in Hong Kong for two years, where she cared for an 8-year-old child. She then served a local family in Singapore for four years, looking after two children aged 4 and 11. Afterwards, she worked for a Chinese family in Malaysia for two years, caring for two children aged 1 year and 6 months and 4 years old.
