Shiela was employed by a Filipino family in Abu Dhabi. Her employment was terminated after one year when the family relocated to the United States.

Shiela first worked for a local family in Saudi Arabia for 2 years and 4 months. It was an extended family living in a villa. She cared for a 55-year-old elderly woman, as well as children aged newborn, 1, and 2 years old. She carried out integrated caregiving, domestic maintenance, and culinary responsibilities by supporting both the children and the elderly person, maintaining cleanliness and order within the residence, and contributing to routine food preparation to ensure overall household comfort and well-being. She completed her contract and returned home.

After some time, she moved to the UAE and served a local family in Al Ain for 2 years. She provided combined childcare for four children aged 2, 3, 6, and 7 years old, along with household maintenance and meal preparation support. She ensured attentive supervision of the children, maintained cleanliness and organization throughout the residence, and assisted with general cooking tasks to support a safe and well-managed home environment. She left upon contract completion.

After that, she worked as a cleaner under a cleaning company in Dubai for one year. She carried out housekeeping and sanitation responsibilities through routine upkeep of various premises, maintaining tidy and organized surroundings, and supporting a clean, safe, and efficient working environment for clients.
